I started in industrial design — physical things you hold in your hands. Then I moved to digital. Turns out the question is the same: does this actually work for the person using it? Ten years later, I'm still asking it.

I've learned that the findings aren't the hard part — getting them to change something is. The perspective and process shifts are needed to get there.
✏ I've worked in the hardest industries
Healthcare taught me that bad UX could have real health consequences. Gaming taught me that teams hide behind data. I've carried both of those into everything since.
✏ I know when to decide
Ambiguity is part of the job. So is knowing when to end it.
✏ I care about teams
It gives me a great pleasure seeing designers flourish in their roles. I find that through mentoring others I learn about more about myself.

Gamification
I foster behavioral shifts and uncover product opportunities through the Octalysis Framework and its fundamental principles by “gamifying” user experiences. I teach design teams how to responsibly use the framework to deliver results. It's important to note that gamification principles are applicable across various industries like healthcare or financial services.
Healthcare
I'm driven to work in healthcare because we can enable better diagnosis, treatment, and health management for patients around the world with different income levels. I quite enjoy working with medical hardware connected to digital solutions, as it serves as a natural bridge to my experience in industrial design.

User testing revealed patients prioritise continuity of care with the same GP and accept a 1-2 day wait for video appointments. Lack of continuity of care deterred interest in the service.
INSIGHT CONTEXT:
During the pandemic, the Online First Healthcare platform funded by NHS offered a service for patients to use video appointments during COVID-19, alleviating healthcare system pressure.
